WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST

Mackenzie is a wildlife biologist with experience collecting data on birds and mammals across a variety of field surveys. Mackenzie coordinates our field operations under the Oil Sands Bird Contact Monitoring Program. Her other responsibilities include supporting our Boreal MAPS bird-banding program and our monitoring of wildlife presence and use of habitats in reclaimed areas. She has experience working in wildlife capture, rehabilitation and release, and currently volunteers with several non-profit environmental organizations in Alberta.
